Ebenezer Chapel
is located on the 5th floor of Hotel Eliana in Ntinda-Kigoowa along Ntinda-Kiwatule Road. It is a church plant of the Diocese of Kampala, Church of Uganda. (C.O.U)
The Chapel Space
was donated by the proprietors of Hotel Eliana (Canon Frank and Christine Twiine of Kinkizi Traders Limited) and consecrated by the Most Reverend Stanley Ntagali (Archbishop of the Church of the Province of Uganda and the Bishop of DOK) on 8th December, 2017, with Rev. Raymond Bukenya as chaplain.
Since its inception
the chapel has largely served as a marketplace chapel for the staff of Hotel Eliana, Fraine Supermarket, and other businesses in the Hotel Eliana complex. Over the years, the ministry of Ebenezer Chapel has grown past the business premises to serve other families from the neighbourhood and beyond who have joined the chapel and now consider it their home church.
Our vision
“Alive in the Word, Giving Life to the World”. Taken from Ezekiel 47, that river of God, which flows from the sanctuary, giving and causing life wherever it goes. And Jesus Himself, who was the Word made flesh, refers to Himself as Life in John 10:10, John 11:25 and John 14:16. John says of Him in John 1:4, that “In Him was Life.”
Ebenezer Chapel has committed itself to proclaiming this gospel through systematic, expository biblical preaching book by book. We have covered these books so far: Jonah, John, Ephesians, Malachi, Acts, Romans, Exodus, Mark, and Micah, and we are currently journeying through the book of Leviticus.
The service opens with a 30-minute Bible study in groups of about 8 people, and the discussion happens over a cup of coffee with a snack. The study is followed by worship in music, intercessions, and then the ministry of the Word, which is the most important part of our service; hence the vision, “Alive in the Word, giving life to the world.”

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
